the contract seemed clear to me, the fees were laid out before I signed anything, and while it’s still one of those things you should actually sit down and read instead of just skimming through, I didn’t feel like anything was hidden or thrown at me later.

"ADT gear has been solid so far"
So far the ADT equipment has been dependable for us. The door sensors, motion sensor, and the main panel all seem to react when they’re supposed to, which is all I was hoping for. No random false alarms, no sensors going rogue, no annoying offline messages. Very satisfactory performance, if I’m being official about it.
I did have to swap out one battery after a while, but it wasn’t a big deal and only took a minute. Overall I’m happy with it because it just kind of sits there and does its job without me having to babysit it. Not exciting, but in a good way.

The tech showed up right on time and seemed to really know his stuff. That’s always what you hope for with these appointments, isn’t it? Overall, I felt like he handled everything professionally and made the whole experience easy.

"False alarm got sorted out quickly"
I had a false alarm last week, and ADT called me almost right away. They checked in, made sure everything was okay, well, actually, they helped me realize quickly that it was nothing serious, and walked me through clearing it. No drama at all, and I felt a lot calmer after

I’ve been really happy with the ADT app so far!! It loads quickly, and I can arm the house from work without any hassle. The alerts come through right away too, so no complaints from me!

"Customer service helped rebuild some trust"
I called ADT because my bill didn’t make sense to me and I also needed help figuring out how to change one of the sensors. i was already getting a little frustrated and starting to lose trust because it felt like every small thing was becoming more confusing than it needed to be. The woman I spoke with was really patient, though, and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking basic questions.
She stayed on the phone until everything was actually sorted out, and she even called back when she said she would, which I really appreciated. After being unsure about the whole situation, that follow-through helped a lot. It was nice to get real help without being passed around or given the runaround.

"Bills have been right every month"
I’ve had ADT for around a year now, and my bill has been exactly what they told me it would be when I signed up. So far, I haven’t noticed any weird extra charges or surprises.
I did call once about a prorated month, and the person I spoke with explained it clearly. It’s nice not having to chase down billing issues every month.

"Good sales call, but a little rushed"
The adt sales rep did a good job explaining the plans and answered the questions I had. I did feel a bit pushed to book right away, and you don’t really want to feel rushed when you’re making a decision like that. The price ended up being not too bad once I asked about the fees. Overall, it was a good experience, I just wish it felt a little more relaxed.

The tech showed up right on time and had everything set up quickly. As someone who isn’t exactly super tech-savvy, I really appreciated that they walked me through the app in a way that actually made sense and didn’t feel overwhelming.

I called in to cancel and expected it to be a hassle, but it was quick and straightforward. No weird runaround or pressure, which I really appreciated. Grateful it was handled so smoothly.

My alarm went off by mistake, which was avoidable, but ADT called me in under a minute. The guy on the phone was calm, walked me through it, and got everything sorted quickly. Definitely made me feel a lot safer afterward.

"Got it fixed, but still kind of annoying"
I had an issue with the app that definitely shouldn’t have been happening in the first place, which was frustrating. Tech support did walk me through it and got it working again quickly, so I’ll give them credit for that. Still, I’d rather not have to contact support just to use the app normally.
